John Sanker is the President and Owner of Hampton Roads Security. He began his career in Law Enforcement with the Virginia Beach Police Dept in 1986. In 1990 he served as a Police Officer in Los Angeles County before return back to Hampton Roads where he spent the remainder his career as a Police Sergeant for the City of Suffolk and an Independent contractor for Blackwater USA. During his career in 2007, he began Hampton Roads Security. Certified by the Dept of Criminal Justice Services, Hampton Roads Security began providing physical security guard patrol services to commercial, residential, multi-family and corporate clients. Hampton Roads Security then opened a D.C.J.S. certified training academy in order to train internal employees as well as the general public on a variety of State certifications. In order to provide their clients “turn key” security solutions, they developed an electronic security division for the installation, service, monitoring and training of alarm, CCTV and access control systems. Based on the regional growth and success of the security guard division, a National leading security firm acquired and purchased the Security Patrol and Guard Division of Hampton Roads Security. This allowed our main focus to be Electronic Security Services for their rapidly growing residential and commercial clients primarily in Hampton Roads before servicing areas throughout Virginia and neighboring States.
